The candidate will report to a Senior Research Manager and be accountable for the execution of laboratory research under close direction of scientist(s) and/or technical leader. Ability to work safely in a laboratory setting is a must and may include the ability to safely work with laboratory instrumentation, chemicals, and/or biological hazards. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, the ability to faithfully execute written protocols, follow verbal direction, as well as keeping accurate and complete documentation good records of materials and methods utilized as well as results obtained. The successful incumbent will be expected to work well with others in a team environment. The specific skill sets required for the conduct of laboratory research will be dependent on the type of lab where such work is being conducted and the objectives of the work.
Hours : 8:00am to 5:00pm
Additional Job Details : The team is looking for recent college grads or those still in college. This position is very repetitive. They will be building syringes and then pushing fluid through them to make sure they work. Needs to do about 10 - 12 cycles a day and each cycle is about 100 in total. These resources need to be self motivated and work alone. They are allowed to have head phones to listen to but can't be on their phones "playing around". Interviews will be conducted in a group setting for a tour of the lab and then broken into individual one on ones with a team member. Second Shift hours will be from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM.
